I was fortunate to work on a number of projects with Lotus-Trust-Hilfe in collaboration with READA in the Siem Reap province of Cambodia. One of these projects is the Social Protection Project which supports a group of elderly ladies with a small pension. These ladies lived through the hardship and suffering of the Khmer Rouge era, but what struck me was their positivity and zest for life. It was a delight to spend time with them.
